The Vaughan Kings would like to congratulate Frank Corrado who played his first NHL game with the Vancouver Canucks on April 22 of this year. He also appeared in all playoff games with the Canucks. We wish Frank all the best in his hockey career. The Vaughan Kings would like to congratulate two ex-Kings players on their outstanding achievements this season in the OHL. Ryan Sproul (Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds) Ryan was named OHL most outstanding defenceman this year and as will just recently received the honours of CHL defencemen of the year. Ryan recorded 66 points in just 50 games for the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds this season scoring 20 goals while adding 46 assists. The 20-year-old from Mississauga, ON, is a Detroit Red Wings prospect selected in the second round of the 2011 NHL Draft and just completed his third season with the Greyhounds. Ryan was also named to 2012-2013 First Team OHL All-Stars. Congratulations go out to Ryan and we wish him continued success in his hockey career. Jordan Binnington (Owen Sound Attack) Congratulations go out to Jordan who was named OHL Goaltender of the Year and to the 2012-2013 First Team All-Stars.
